1. Turn the ignition key to the “ON” position
2. Set the choke
3. Set ‘KILL’ switch to the running position
* Sliding switches (slides left-to-right and can be pressed in) must be set in the center in a ‘neutral’ position. This can be done by sliding the switch or by pressing it down
* Toggle switches (on/off) must be pressed so the ‘circle’ running end is pressed down
4. Squeeze the left hand brake lever
5. Press the electric Start button
